A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life with his days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. But when his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctant Wolverine.

Come again? Paradox: This Wolverine let down his entire world. Wade Wilson: Want to talk about what’s haunting you, or should we wait for a third act flashback? Wolverine: Uh, go f*** yourself. Deadpool: I don’t know anything about saving worlds, but you do! Wolverine: Trust me, kid, I’m no hero. Wade Wilson: You were an X-Man. You were the X-Man. Deadpool: I am soaking wet right now.
